From 53, 54 and 58 there are also without perforation, from 55,59 and 61 - with a shifted stotinkaer, from 55 - with an upwardly shifted upper left digit "3", from 56 - without a right upper digit "5", from 57 - without upper digits, from 57 and 59 - without the face of Prince Ferdinand and without upper digits. Stamps with the year "1901", "1905", "1909" or "1910" are rarer. The artist Stefan Badzhov was born on May 31, 1883. He graduated in decoration and painting in Prague in 1906, which is why we question his authorship of 53-64. In 1929, in a survey conducted among philatelists and artists developing postage stamp designs, 53-64 was declared a series - a benchmark in all respects - both in terms of artistic design and printing performance.| BC № | Nominal | MNH | Used/CTO |

Paper:
Letterpress
Printing:
5,943,000
Additional Information
There are stamps with horizontally or vertically offset overprints. In some cases, the horizontal offset is significant and the overprint falls on two adjastotinka stamps in the sheet, with "0" at the left and "1" at the right end of the stamp. In these cases, the stamps in the final vertical columns of the postal sheet have only one of the digits: "1" or "0". With strongly offset vertically offset overprints, half of the digit "10" is at the top and the other half at the bottom of the stamp. There are stamps with an inverted overprint, with a double overprint, with a double overprint - one inverted, as well as a pair - one stamp without an overprint. There is information that after the overprinting, over 100,000 waste copies of 68 were not destroyed, and some of them were sold through post offices in larger cities in the period 1919-1929. The same overprint also exists on 57 (10 stotinki), with two sheets of this value (200 copies) being overprinted by mistake. With an original gum, the price varies around 600.00, with a sticker around 300.00. The same overprint with a changed color, see 73.| BC № | Nominal | MNH | Used/CTO |

There are stamps with horizontally or vertically offset overprints. In these cases, only one of the digits appears on the stamps in the final vertical columns of the postal sheet: "1" or "0", respectively "2" or "5". There are stamps with an inverted, double overprint, with a double overprint - one inverted, as well as pairs - one stamp without an overprint. Of the 73 stamps, there are overprints on the reverse (gum) side of the stamp. 74 are overprinted with two types of ink: carmine and keremi day red. Of the 72 stamps, there are green and black overprints, and of the 74 stamps with a blue overprint (proof). The overprints are on stamps from the 1901 order, the vintages on the leaves have an overprint "1909". Pairs with the vintage "1901" and the overprint "1909" are rarer. Additional Information
There are stamps with a horizontally or vertically shifted overprint. In the case of a significant vertical shift of the overprint, the new nominal value falls at the top of the stamp, and the year at the bottom. In these cases, only the year or only the nominal value appears overprinted on the stamps in the final horizontal rows of the postal sheet. There are also stamps with a double overprint. There are samples of 80 with a red and black overprint, and of 81 - with a black-green, yellow-green and blue-green overprint. The year "1909" is overprinted on 80-81, which makes these invalid "Ferdinand I" stamps valid again with the newly overprinted values.| BC № | Nominal | MNH | Used/CTO |

Printing:
for BC 94 — 209,500, for BC 95 — 160,000, for BC 96 — 110,000
Additional Information
Of all the values, there are darker or lighter shades. Of the 94, there is a dark green (according to some, the color should be defined as dark olive) and a light green (or according to some, gray-olive). Some catalogs indicate that the quantity of gray-green stamps is 500, of which only 40-50 are unused. The rest are stamped for the most part with the "Dobrich" stamp. There is an opinion (P. Beshkov and others) that this is a reprint of 94. 500 copies or 10 sheets were reprinted. Nine of these sheets were torn into single copies, pasted on wrapping paper and stamped with the stamp "Dobrich/Dobrich/2.VIII.1912". Less than 10 copies were stamped with "Sofia", "Tarnovo" and "Letnitsa". According to P. Beshkov, of the remaining stamps with original gum in Bulgaria, 2-3 carriages, a fragment of 6 copies and 14-15 single pieces are known. 94-96 are printed on coated (glossy) paper, 95 of them are also on thin paper. There are stamps with a mirror print on the reverse.| BC № | Nominal | MNH | Used/CTO |

Additional Information
129-131 are printed on coated (glossy) paper, 131 is also available on thin paper. There are indications of the existence of stamps without perforation (proofs) of all four values. 129-131 were ordered together with those from the 1st military edition at the beginning of 1917 and also commemorate the War of Liberation. Therefore, they show the years 1915-1917 and their nominal values do not duplicate the "military" ones. For some reason, the printing of the "anniversary" ones was delayed and they were put into use only in 1918, and the anniversary of Ferdinand I was marked with 117, 121 and 124.| BC № | Nominal | MNH | Used/CTO |

Additional Information
The Council of Ministers of 7.VII.1939 with the charitable purpose of collecting sums to help the victims of the flood in the Sevlievo and Tarnovo districts on 28 and 29.VI.1939. The overprinted new nominal values (before the plus) served as postage, and the amounts of the overcharge (after the plus) were allocated to a special account to help the victims. Due to the high sales values, not enough interest was shown in the stamps and they were almost not used for pasting on correspondence. There is information that at the end of XII.1939 the series was withdrawn from the post offices and the unsold quantities were handed over to state institutions - banks and savings banks, for pasting on fiscal documents.| BC № | Nominal | MNH | Used/CTO |
